Llewellyn is Canadian, so we look for dogs with the
strength and stamina to patrol through the
rigors of our winters.

We prefer strong straight backs; powerful, healthy
hind quarters, rather than the steeply sloped show lines.

We look for the rock-steady temperament that is essential to the Llewellyn life style. The Llewellyn dog must walk calmly and quietly through a boisterous crowd; yet be ready and able to perform an arrest.
